Pioneer Museum was established in 1935, this museum is located in the old
County Court House in the center of town. One of the finest small museums
in the country with three full floors of exhibits featuring over 35,000
artifacts. Included are replicas of a pioneer home, the stump house
where Tillamook's first settler lived, and great grandmother's kitchen.
Also preserved are a collection of birds and mammals. The museum grounds
feature a restored steam logging donkey and a British anchor dredged up
by the Coast Guard from Tillamook Bay. Visit the museum's web site .
